Welcome to Milton Yoga

What is special about our Yoga?

  • based on the purest of traditional forms
  • adapted to the Western body and lifestyle
  • high in risk management (low in injuries)
  • esoteric understandings grounded in tangible evidence
  • dedicated to professional development and research

Our yoga is individualised  for all levels – We shape the yoga to you, we won’t force you into the yoga postures

Please remember that we always need your class bookings by the day before at the latest if you phone or email. SMS on the day is ok.

News flash – there is no evening class this Thursday 11 March, or Yoga BootCamp that morning. Yoga BootCamp resumes Monday 6 am as ususal, and Tuesday 6 pm will be on as usual.  Apologies for this, and I promise to bring some great stuff back from the seminar!

  • You are safe, and welcome to give feedback as to how you feel, and what is going on for you

  • we work with your body, mind and soul – our yoga is health and relaxation oriented, rather than guru-oriented
  • we bring you aspects of chinese martial arts, pilates, movement in all forms where there is overlap
  • the essence of yoga is preserved, and presented in a uniquely Australian, practical, technical, and light-hearted way

Result?

  • You will love it! You will feel connected to yourself in a way that no other form of exercise can achieve. In loving  your yoga, you will connect with and love all aspects of yourself, your body, and that will naturally flow from your relationship with yourself and into all your other relationships.

What are you waiting for? Start your personal yoga journey.  We recommend our Yoga for everyone!

Hi

I will be visiting Brisbane over the next few weeks and in January for work. I alwyas try and do yoga classes where ever I travel. Am I able to drop into the classes on Tues and Thursday nights? How much is each class? Will you have any classes w/c 21 Dec? And when do you re-open in January?

Also I will probably be statying at the Park Regis North Quay – how far would it be to walk from there to your studio?

Many thanks

Fiona

RED ALERT on BOOTCAMP TIMES ERROR….Apologies… I am still getting used to the event calendar! The correct times for the four sessions should read 6 pm – 7.15 pm each time.
Thanks to all of you who have let me know + at this point [Thursday], yes, there are still a couple of spots. So grab a friend or workmate and join in. 3369 7404, 0410 570 441.

Hello Fiona – to answer your question, yes you can easily walk to the Studio from the city. (Look at Milton Road on a map), or even catch a train from Roma St to Milton St. [Walking would be a similar distance I think!].
Attending casually is fine as long as I have a space, which I do on Tuesday and Thursday. Confirm with me if you would like me to hold this. There will be classes the week of Christmas, and the Studio re-opens for classes the first Tuesday after the Australia Day holiday (I think that is the 26th).
Depending on when you are in Brisbane, I could also recommend the Yoga BootCamp which starts on Monday and is four sessions over 2 weeks.

Thanks, Susan
